BLACK AND BLUE IN A HIDDEN NOOK

Good morning, Monday!

Ever since I started taking this blogging hobby more seriously, I’ve started to subconsciously be on the constant lookout for new and pretty places to shoot for my photos, and I think that is one of the rewarding aspects of this whole experience! By constantly keeping an eye out for new locations, I’ve started to develop a new-found appreciation for my surroundings. As I mentioned in this post, I’m starting to sadly think we live in an age where people forget the beauty of the world we live in because their attention is constantly funneled downwards towards their phones.

On this day of shopping in Beverly Hills, H and I came across this bit of a charming but obscure courtyard right behind the Via Alloro restaurant you may have seen on the corner of Canon Drive and Dayton Way. Who knew such a lovely place existed between the tourist-filled streets surrounding the famous Rodeo Drive? It certainly was a nice, peaceful breather from the throngs of people milling out on the streets.

As for the outfit, I decided that simple yet comfortable was best. A soft blue denim jacket (love the cut of this particular jacket) over a relaxed tee tucked into a circle skirt was such a perfect shopping look. It also set me apart that day from the other shoppers/tourists, because I started to notice that tourists really like to dress up for a stroll down Rodeo Drive!

Thanks for reading today! Check back tomorrow for some exciting news I’ve been invited to share with you all!
