If “Complainer” was an official occupation, I would totally rock at it. After all those months of complaining and yearning for fall and winter, I have found a new complaint about these chillier days: it gets dark way too soon in the afternoon! And that poses quite a problem for a blogger who happens to hold a day job, because by the time I leave work and arrive home, the sun is already on its last leg of descent and the moon rays are taking over, leaving inadequate lighting for blog photos.
So, to make up for my lack of new things to share this week, here’s a little something that never got the chance to be published on Jayeeaych…until today! Back in October, stylist & designer Rachel Zoe hosted a fashion show at South Coast Plaza in Orange County to help kick off the retail center’s “Live the Look” weekend festivities, and to partake in the event, I decided to go lowkey (but still ooze with style!) with an Express v-neck blouse, Forever 21 skirt, and my Sam Edelman booties that I love to wear for anything remotely fancy. You just can’t go wrong with heeled black suede booties! And yes, I admit I’ve been obsessed with booties lately – even more than I usually am – and I’m not exactly helping myself by piling on to my never-ending wishlist. Shoes are definitely a girl’s weakness, but can you blame me? Take a look for yourself below at these amazing booties that I wish I could take home with me! I have them all bookmarked in a special folder in my Google Chrome so that even though I can’t afford them all, it still is a little soothing to know that I can at least open them up in my browser tabs and stare at them longingly from time to time in hopes that a huge magic sale will happen. That, or a giant sack of non-counterfeit money specifically reserved for shopping will fall down from the sky and land in front of my feet. A girl can dream, right?

This week is incredibly busy (and lacking in ample sunlight) so you’ll see a dearth in new updates, but fret not because I assure you that many exciting things will be coming this way starting next week!
By the way, to all my new and old followers here on WordPress – thank you so much for deeming my posts worthy of reading and subscribing! It really means a lot to me to know that people find what I wear and what I say interesting. I have so much more I want to say to you all about this, but I’ll save that for a special post later on (it’s one of the exciting things I mentioned earlier!). But while we’re on this subject, I’m trying to get my Bloglovin account up to speed and would LOVE it if you could subscribe to me via Bloglovin as well as WordPress!
