When I was Instagramming the above photo last week, I couldn’t help but recall that beautiful quote. If there’s anything I’ve learned over this past year, it’s to dare to dream, and don’t let doubters bring you down. Instead, when someone challenges your ability to accomplish or pursue something, do yourself a favor and turn it into compelling motivation to reach your dreams.
These photos were taken by the Bushwick Inlet Park in Williamsburg. A gorgeous waterfront gem tucked in a particularly hip area of Brooklyn, it offers an amazing view of midtown Manhattan skyline and an escape from the bustling city life. Come during the sunset hour to witness pastel-hued magic in the sky while losing yourself amidst your thoughts against the soft lapping of the river and the soft cawing of the local birds.
