Oh the weather here in New York City has been such a tease! With so much talk of spring, I honestly thought the wave of freezing temperatures had finally passed, but then – SURPRISE – it’s back down to freeze-your-face-off-20 degree weather again. So everyday, I’ve been bundling up in sweaters (and this faux fur-collar vest, which has been a life-saver), and my winter coats have been on a rotational repeat.
Recently, when I was browsing the Sale section on Nordstrom’s website, I came across this double-breasted peacoat! It comes in four different colors, and after some deliberation, I decided to try it out in hunter green to add some color contrast in my coat collection. Here’s the best part – it’s less than $30! But don’t let the super budget-friendly price tag fool you – the quality is still top-notch and it’s a great season-transitional outwear piece. The various color options also give you the chance to stand out from the sea of black wardrobe that’s been dominating the streets during these winter months.
