Floral Conditions

DSC04171

Well, it looks like I’m not going to be able to use my trench coat this year here on the coast of Southern California, so instead of fighting and complaining, I might as well embrace the turning of the season (although honestly, does SoCal even have seasons?) and go for light colored denim and florals! These shots were taken this past weekend by Point Fermin in San Pedro. Although it was a beautiful day, it was so breezy and I had a few near-Marilyn-Monroe incidents, if you know what I mean. It might not have been the best day to wear a lightweight flowy skirt, but I had not expected it to be that windy! But besides, what’s a little breeze compared to nice lighting and great scenic shots? 🙂

I’m also happy to share that my picture (top) got featured on ootdwatch’s Instagram! For an aspiring blogger like me, it’s a big step in garnering recognition in the fashion frenzied world. I’m crossing my fingers that more features will be coming my way in the near future, but it’s seriously intimidating how many fashion aspiring people there are on Instagram…and all over the internet, really!
