When it’s the middle of March and the weather is topping off at an average of 90F every day and you’re too stingy poor to blast the air-conditioning for the entire day, there’s really nothing much that sounds better than a tub of ice cream and lying around like a beached whale in your pajamas.
But since I do have a life that requires me going out of house, that aforementioned perfect albeit sweltering scenario isn’t exactly a viable option for me to survive these hot hot days. Thankfully I have my PAJAMAS tee from ILY Couture – a shirt crafted from a fabric so soft and so lightweight that it has the comfort of sleepwear but still is public-appropriate, especially when thrown over a flippy rosebud skirt and polished off with a pair of heeled booties.
But in all honesty, as much as I’m loving my lightweight tees, I’m still incredibly disappointed that I literally only got about one week to wear my big coats. We went from a blistering summer to something that barely qualified as autumn, and then we swung right back into summer heat again. Welcome to Southern California.
