Ruffle My Feathers

Lately, I just feel like a big hot mess. Wait, no. A big hot sweaty mess. The weather has been excruciatingly hot – so hot to the point that the second I step outside away from any air-conditioned haven, I immediately feel like I may pass out. All day today, I had to cope with a pestering heat-induced migraine that even my extra-strength Tylenol pills had a difficult time defusing. So even though I’ve been loving my light, flowy dresses (like this feminine pink ruffle dress), now I’m figuratively on my knees just begging for the heat to calm down and for the fall weather to kick in, but I’m also super excited for this weekend where I can escape this Southern California heat for cooler temperatures to work on something exciting (to be revealed soon)….
