Downtown, Uptown

Happy Friday! Today’s post serves as an interlude to next week’s segment, where I’ll finally get to share my Seattle weekend in depth with you after teasing about it so much on Instagram!

I’m so crazy about fall – there’s no season I love shopping more for than this time of year (although it’s still sweltering hot in LA!). With fall – and winter around the corner – come boots, sweaters, coats, and hats… which basically make up 100% of my favorite items of clothing. In Seattle, I was so lucky to have perfect autumn weather  – crisp cool air offset by some dashes of warm sun rays – and I happily trotted around the city with these Sam Edelman booties and my old favorite Topshop trench. These amazing booties have the perfect amount of masculinity that complements the fashionable flair of brushed pony hair paneling against smooth leather. Paired with a chiffon blouse that exudes a certain vintage, romantic charm from the billowy sleeves and self-tie bow, and lastly topped off with a wool fedora, it was the perfect blend of uptown-meets-downtown chic.
